We urgently require a mid-senior copywriter wIth extensive experience writing about first premolar teeth in the lower jaw.
Ideally you will have:
At least 10 years first premolar experience.
A degree in dentistry.
5 or more years work experience in an Australian Dental Association approved dental clinic.
A Phd in orthodontics. (Bonus points if your thesis was on first premolars.)
A good working knowledge of Oasis and Exact Dental Software.
Current, unrestricted APHRA registration.
If this sounds like you, then please send:
Three relevant first premolar campaigns you have done in the last 2 years. (Ideally these will be lower jaw, but we will accept upper jaw if necessary.)
Any first premolar-related articles you have had published in both Bite Magazine and Australasian Dentist. (post 2019)
Please note*
Applicants with unrelated experience in canines, molars or incisors will not be considered.
About us:
We are lower northwest Sydney’s third-leading premolar specialists. (BTL)
My little rant:
Dunno about you guys, but I’m fed up to the back teeth with job posts that contain the words “previous experience in (insert category) a must.”
I was taught that any creative worth his/her salt can tackle any job. It just requires a bit of briefing and a bit of research.
In my career thus far, I’ve written work for cosmetics, feminine hygiene products and lingerie. All without any prior experience and all without being a woman. I know, amazing right?
And I’m sure the same is true for all you other creatives out there in Faff land.
It’s probably also worth considering, that with the application of that single arbitrary statement, you are narrowing your pool of potential applicants down to a very narrow, very shallow one.
Not the best way to ensure you get great work now is it?
So please, can we let a bit of common sense prevail?
