Hi there humans, my name is Jerry.

I may not be a young pup anymore but I’ve still got lots of energy and value to bring to the right agency.

I’m a cheeky and playful fellow, always up for a joke or a game. But I’m also quite intelligent and very loyal.

Having been fully agency-trained and socialised, I can work well both with other creatives, or on my own.

Oh, and despite my age, it’s actually quite easy to teach me new tricks.

Being a naturally active and intelligent breed, I need regular workies and like nothing more than chasing big ideas and rounding them up into tight, coherent campaigns.

You’ll also be pleased to hear that despite being somewhat long in the tooth, I don’t shed any hair.

Having been married for 12 years, I’m obviously neutered. My bird chasing days are far behind me. Now I prefer chewing on a juicy brief or digging up interesting insights.

In the past, I have been badly-treated by agencies and cast aside in favour of younger, fluffier pups.

Forced to fend for myself, I was found by the RSPCA (Royal Society Preventing Creative Ageism) in appalling conditions, writing annual reports for a small regional council.

In the process, I was starved of interesting briefs and lost over half my brain weight.

As you can imagine, all this has taken its toll on me and I’m now a little bit wary of agencies.

As a result, I don’t always come when they call.

Not that they do, mind you.

It’s not that I’m disobedient. It’s just taking me a while to learn to trust again.

You’ll be pleased to hear that I don’t bite. Having said that, I have been known to growl at young account service persons if left alone with them for too long. So, if you have any of these in your agency, I would need to meet them first.
